Meet the Kiddies Crew!
Our team pride themselves on being highly trained and experienced, to ensure the best outcome for every one of our patients.
At Kiddies Eye Care, we believe that every patient deserves to see the world with clarity and confidence. But we also know that a trip to the eye doctor can feel a little daunting for our younger patients (and sometimes for their parents, too!)
That’s why we’ve hand-picked a team of dedicated optometrists, vision therapists, optical dispensers and optical assistants who aren’t only dedicated to understanding eyes - they understand kids. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll meet professionals who combine years of clinical experience with a patient-centred, play-based approach. We take the time to explain every test, answer every "why?", and ensure your child feels like the focal point they are.
Our Team

When she isn't curating our latest eyewear, she enjoys staying active with pilates, traveling, and sharing great food with family and friends.
Senior Optical Assistant
Rob
One of five siblings, and a father himself, Rob understands that life happens. With a background in science and strong family- focus, Rob is the resident "engineer" of the Kiddies Krew. He is known for his unique ability to troubleshoot even the trickiest fitting challenges or complex repair issues.
Senior Optical Assistant
Bec
Dispensing / Admin
With a background in small business management, Bec is the engine room of our practice. She leads our administration and accounts teams with a sharp eye for detail, ensuring that the "behind-the-scenes" of Kiddies Eye Care runs as smoothly as our clinical assessments. But Bec isn’t just about the numbers; as a mum herself she understands that families need patience and support to find frames that are both technically perfect and stylistically right.
Robyn
Originally from New Zealand, Robyn brings a wealth of experience to our clinic, having spent years teaching children. Her background in education makes her an expert at connecting with our younger patients and helping them feel confident during their visit. When she isn’t assisting the clinical team, you’ll likely find her hovering near the lollipop tin—though be warned: she’ll try to convince you her favorite flavor is Broccoli! Outside of the clinic, Robyn is a true explorer at heart who loves discovering new foods, traveling, and soaking up every moment with her grandchildren.
Dispensing Team
Tracy
With many years of experience in business administration and technical repairs, Tracy is the "knowledge bank" of the Kiddies Krew. There isn't a repair challenge she hasn't overcome. Having worked in the industry for many years, Tracy has mastered every tip and trick in the book, allowing her to perform minor miracles on frames that others might consider beyond repair. Every fit is precise and every repair is handled with the skill of a true artisan.
Dispensing Team
Amani is a dedicated Health Sciences student who brings a fresh, academic perspective to the Kiddies Krew. Her studies give her a deep appreciation for the clinical side of eye health, but it is in our optical gallery where her eye for frames truly shines. Amani has a natural talent for matching frame shapes, colours, and textures to every unique face. Whether she’s helping a toddler find their very first pair or assisting an adult with a high-fashion upgrade, Amani brings a scientific understanding with a keen sense of style to ensure every patient leaves feeling confident and comfortable.

Courtney
Courtney brings a perspective that can't be taught. Having managed "tricky eyes" her whole life, she understands the clinical journey from the patient's side of the chair - operations, patching, drops, glasses and contact lenses - Courtney has experienced the lot. As a mother of three "Kiddies Kids," Courtney blends her professional background with lived experience, and the parent perspective to provide extraordinary compassion and advocacy for every family we see.
Dispensing Team
Bettina
Bettina brings a unique level of calm and capability to the Kiddies Krew. As a highly-engaged Paramedicine student, she is trained to handle high-pressure situations with a steady hand and a clear head—traits that make her an absolute powerhouse in our optical gallery. Bettina can handle any dispensing challenge, from the most complex lens alignments to fitting our youngest, most "energetic" patients. Her background in emergency health gives her a deep understanding of patient care, ensuring that every family she assists feels heard, supported, and confident in their eyewear choices.
