Kiddies was founded by optometrist and mum-of-three, Nicky, who has always been passionate about testing children and making their experience as fun and engaging as possible so they feel able to perform at their best.

Since 2014, Kiddies has offered something that not many other optometric places offer - a kids haven which cares for them in a safe, non-threatening and fun environment. The design of the practice, the choice of equipment and the services we offer for little kids has been inspired by them directly.

As a children’s optometry clinic, our examinations are always thorough yet entertaining - children will often walk out asking when they can come back and play some more “games” with us. We create a comfortable environment for each child to feel confident and enabled, and always ensure that every test is catered to their unique ability.

After first opening in Williamstown, the clinic has since moved to Yarraville and opened a second Geelong branch in order to serve the children and families of Melbourne and the Surf Coast in the best way we know how.

Our team now boasts four expert optometrists - Nicky, Lucy, Chi and Nikki - who are passionate about testing children, understand the impact vision holds in learning and living and are committed to finding the best optical solutions available on the market for all our patients (big or small).

We have a unique team of optical dispensers and assistants who all have one thing in common: they all care about and have time for kids. From our fashionista frame stylist, to our handy repair-man Rob who always manages to find a way to get the job done, they have all your problems and concerns covered.

Alongside a big smile, every kid will walk out with a special lollypop (of course, if Mum or Dad allow!) for doing such a great job.
